When I first read the title I wondered if I would have to unfollow you.

I’m glad I don’t.

I commend you, and thank you, for your honesty and self-awareness. You being willing to try and understand the plight black American’s face, your willingness to check your own racism and acknowledging your priviledge says alot about you. Yes, hard conversations and choices have to be made for the equality and justice of black people which are basic rights you are promised as citizens of this country.

We all vote for our interests. Maybe once day we’ll have a progressive enough candidate that speaks to the hearts, minds and agenda’s of all people.

And hopefully one day justice will fall accordingly and you won’t have to apologize to black people again.

I hope your daughter makes it/made it safely.
